Crypto prop firm research, with the evidence left in

Crypto Prop Guide checks Kraken Prop, Kraken Pro and xStocks against official product, support and legal documents. We publish the date, method, costs and restrictions behind each conclusion. Affiliate links support the site, but an unverified discount or cashback claim stays labelled as unconfirmed.

Start with the product, not the promotion

Kraken now uses one account and one brand across products that work very differently. Kraken Pro is an exchange interface. xStocks creates tokenized exposure to listed companies and ETFs without giving the holder the underlying share. Kraken Prop sells trading evaluations whose funded stage remains a virtual arrangement.

Those differences change the fees, legal rights and risks. They also make a short promotional answer unreliable. This site starts by identifying the exact product, then checks the current source material before discussing an affiliate destination.

What we verified at launch

Kraken Prop launched under its current name on 27 May 2026 and added the NASDAQ 100 on 20 July 2026. Its plans range from $5,000 to $200,000, with different profit targets and drawdown limits. The evaluation and funded stages use virtual funds. Kraken describes the service as unregulated.

xStocks are issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited. They do not make the holder a shareholder and do not provide voting rights or a direct legal claim on a company dividend. Availability and the trading route also change by country.

Kraken introduced a revised cross-platform fee ladder on 9 July 2026. The lowest spot tier shown on the current schedule is 0.40% maker and 0.80% taker. The lowest futures tier is 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker.

How affiliate claims are handled

We tested every Kraken link used on this site on 24 July 2026. The redirects and invite parameters were present. The public registration pages did not show the duration, eligible products or exact customer benefit for the candidate cashback campaigns. The Kraken Prop page did not display a price reduction.

That result is useful, even though it is not the result a coupon page would want. The links can be described as affiliate destinations. The percentage claims cannot be presented as verified until Kraken shows the promotion details or the benefit is reproduced at checkout.

Our editorial standard

Every published page is checked separately for factual accuracy, search intent, answer quality, citation usefulness and natural human writing. A page fails if any one of those reviews scores below 9 out of 10. Dates are changed only after a real source review, not to create artificial freshness.

01

Check the exact product

Kraken, Kraken Pro, Kraken Prop and xStocks are separate products with separate conditions.

02

Record the date and method

Every material claim is tied to a source and a real verification date.

03

Show the downside

Costs, restrictions, failed verifications and unavailable countries remain visible.
